After years working as a computer programmer, I needed to do something different. I had always been interested in alternative medicine, so I started doing bodywork part time. When my computer job was "downsized" I thought I would keep doing massage rather than look for another programming job, and here I am.
My main interest is in Orthopedic Massage and I am certified in that by OMERI. We treat many types of soft tissue problems using an eclectic range of techniques appropriate to the condition. This includes muscle strain, sprains, sciatica, rotator cuff injury, etc.
My other interest is in Oriental bodywork. I have studied Chinese massage (tui na), Thai massage, and Ayurvedic (Indian) massage.
